If you are an analyst then the toughest part of your life is to visualize the data. Anyone can write the formulas in ‘R’, ‘SAS’ or any other statistical package but a knowledge that how to visualize the same is something which needs to be added.Here, in current article I am giving you examples of few of the generally used graphs and their uses in best scenarios. We are starting with Line Chart as it is the most used graph across analysts.

Line Chart is generally used to represent the continuous data. What do I mean by continuous here is that the ‘X’ axis of your outcome graph should be continuous. Discrete/ categorical values doesn’t make any sense in a line chart.
