THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE

It is from the tree of knowledge we are to eat

For it is by ignorance we are greatly deceived

The stories of the world are encoded in time

In ancient graffiti and scared scriptures of the past

Like ancient fortune tellers they say what the future holds.

As the stars give us sight so we may see at night

And knowledge is the light that from out of the darkness we see

So that we shall see where are going and the error of our ways.

  3. Ah, the tree of knowledge. Always a good topic to touch on. Great work with this offering, the image really sets the piece and gives me the feeling of standing in front of the tree reaching for a fruit. Thanks for sharing!
